1. Use scissors and scale to measure and cut a strip of paper which is 5" in length and about ½" in breath.

2. Take this strip of paper and wind it up around the base of the finger you wish to take measurement of.

3. Pick up a pencil or pen and make a marking on the wrapped paper on it's outer end at place the strip overlaps.

4. Use your scale again to measure the distance from the mark you made earlier, to the outside end of the strip. Round up your measurement

to the nearest millimeter.

5. Now look at the chart below which shows ring sizes and determine your ring size accurately.

* When you wrap the strip of paper around your finger, do not make it very tight. This will make it difficult for you to get the ring

over your knuckles.

* To ensure that the ring is not too tight on your finger base or is facing problems in going over the knuckles, take measurements at

both these places. This will allow you to modify the ring size to suit your needs.

* You should remember that your fingers are likely to swell in due course, so account for the same when you take measurements.

* Be careful in not measuring your ring size when fingers are cold. When cold, they are the smallest. Measure either when temperatures

are warm or during the end of the day as your finger are longest then.
