Saturday links --- Ex-Husky Rogers back for another year of Coming Home, and more (Seattle Times)

**Matt Rogers** may not be the most-remembered player in Washington history,
having played for the Huskies for just one season after transferring from
Iowa.

But he picked a good time to spend just one year at UW, serving as a key
backup on the offensive line throughout the 2000 season, when the Huskies went
11-1 and beat Purdue in the Rose Bowl.

And he's since carved out an impressive career in the entertainment industry,
having appeared on American Idol and a host of a couple of different TV shows,
including Lifetime's "Coming Home,'' which begins a new season Sunday at 10
p.m., its second year on the air.

Here's an overview of the show, which tells the stories of the homecomings of
soldiers.
